Volunteers Needed for Community Build at Virginia Weaver Park

After a public design process in 2018, the final design of the creative playground was approved and engineering and construction plans are in progress. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2019, and there are multiple opportunities for community involvement.

Volunteer

The original playground was built by the community, and community will have the opportunity to participate in the design and construction of the new structure. Community volunteers are needed from March 1 to 3. Adults and children age 10 and up are welcome (Children aged 10-14 must work alongside a parent).
