Friendship will outlast viruses

This morning after getting my coffee. I saw these two friends sitting in the parking lot. They have met together for years. But they couldn’t have their Whataburger coffee inside so they decided to enjoy some sun and maintain social distance. I stopped to ask if I could take their picture for this page and we ended up talking for over 20 minutes. All about faith, family, friends, and folks we all had in common. The man on the left works for a chamber member here in town and the man on the right is a retired restaurant owner, I’d never met him.

I shared about the amazing ways our community is coming together (while distancing) and how we haven’t lost our Cedar Hill spirit! We laughed and said goodbye and talked about how we can shake hands as an official introduction soon. Maybe at the Taste of Cedar Hill in July or Country Day in October. #CedarHillStrong
