Construction has begun on improvements to Kingswood Park. The improvements, which include a new playground, exercise stations, a new water fountain, and landscaping enhancements, are expected to be complete in early June, weather permitting. The project also includes an extension of the park's walking trail, which was completed earlier this year.

A contract has been awarded for improvements to Kingswood Park! Based on public input received over the summer, the project will include replacement of the playground, extension of the walking path, update to the retaining wall, new exercise equipment, landscape updates, refurbished pavilion and related fixtures, and an updated drinking fountain. The contractor is currently in the plan review process, and neighbors can expect to see construction activity on the site in March 2020.
