In November 2017, Cedar Hill voters approved $15 million for parks improvements, including funding for reinvestment in neighborhood and community parks. Improvements for Liberty Park, located at 301 Capricorn Dr., will include updated playground equipment, landscaping improvements, and other amenities based on public input.

  • Public Input Concluded, Contract Awarded for Park Improvements

    A contract has been awarded for improvements to Liberty Park! Based on public input received over the summer, the project will include replacement of the playground, walking path lighting, new exercise equipment, landscape updates, refurbished pavilion and related fixtures, and a new drinking fountain. The contractor is currently in the plan review process, and neighbors can expect to see construction activity on the site in May 2020.
