In November 2017, Cedar Hill voters approved $15 million for parks improvements, including funding for reinvestment in neighborhood and community parks. Improvements for Ramsey Park, located at 1313 High Pointe Lane, may include updated playground equipment, landscaping improvements, and other amenities based on public input.

    Thank you for your question! We are looking to update the exercise equipment as part of this project.

    Thank you for your questions! The existing play equipment at Ramsey Park is for all ages and is located at the front of the park near the parking lot. You might be thinking of the playgrounds at High Pointe Elementary School next door to the park - they are the property of CHISD although are usually accessible to the public.

    Shade structures will be included with either playground option.

    Thank you for your question! Improvements/expansion of the trail is not in the current project scope, but your suggestion will be passed along to the project team. They can evaluate trail improvements to see if they may be able to fit in the current project budget.

    Thank you for your question! Additional lighting by the baseball field is not currently in the project scope, but your comment has been shared with the project team and they will evaluate the feasibility based on the project budget.
